At Diverso, we only want to support small businesses. From micro businesses, and one-man bands up to those with small teams, we’re here to help you. Unlike other firms who say they are small business accountants, we actually won’t put a limit on how small. You’re never going to be overlooked. We’re not secretly spending all our time helping whale-sized companies whilst small businesses, earning £25k - £500k, line the bottom of the barrel. You’re not just our bread and butter, you’re our sundae with a cherry on top.
Diverso have given me back precious time that I would have previously spent chasing our old accountants which can be better spent elsewhere. They make life easy, are always there even if it’s a stupid question and adopt the same attitude we do - a business is what you make it. Keep up the good work!

As a client, you’ll be appointed a Client Partner. It’s them who will be your main point of contact, will look after you day to day, answer any questions you may have, and be responsible for your end of year accounts & returns.
Within reason, absolutely anything! Anything business-related, be it a Mortgage Application, Business Rates, Rent Reviews, Cash Flow Forecast, Capital Gains Tax Advice, Marketing, Staff Issues – we have experience with most things business-related – use us as part of your team.
No. Some of our clients we’ve never met face to face. We embrace technology and the web completely and run with a lot of clients over email, phone & video call entirely.
Yes, because we do it all for you. All you need to do is tell them you’re switching to us. We then contact them for all your business/tax details we require.
Yes. No. Well, maybe. We’re most likely the UK’s only true subscription-based firm of accountants. This means absolutely NO surprise bills, and absolutely NO big bills at the year-end. However, we can’t deny that the majority of our time might be spent preparing your year-end accounts and returns. Therefore, if you join us part-way through your financial year, we might require a catch-up fee. This will be no more than three monthly payments and will only ever be the case if you join us and you’re very close to your year-end. Of course, we’ll let you know when we first speak, and we’ll quote and invoice before we start any work to avoid any surprises.
No. Otherwise we’d be out of business! To avoid this happening, if you’ve passed your year-end already, we’ll always charge a one-off fee to take care of last year’s accounts and returns. It’ll be cheaper than our monthly fee times 12, and we’ll always quote and agree this in advance.
No problem, you can cancel. An easy, all-in monthly subscription doesn’t work for some businesses. We have no tie-ins, so if you’re not happy, you can cancel at any time with just 30 days notice.
In English please! And we’ll return the favour. We promise to only ever use small words, not hit you with jargon to try and seem clever, and always, always try our best to explain things in a simple way you’ll understand.
The absolute best way to communicate with us is by email, to your Client Partner. We’re pretty good on email and almost never miss anything important. Our standard response time is 48 hours, and within 72 hours for more complex questions that may need research, or a serious thinking cap.
Our service works best because we’ve worked so hard to be super-efficient. A big part of achieving this is managing our time. That’s why we don’t use an office number. If you really feel you need to chat to us, you can book some dedicated time with your Client Partner, any time.
Your Client Partner does have a direct mobile number you can use in an emergency. However, no one has ever died because their bank didn’t reconcile.
If an issue is urgent, state so in the subject of an email (with the details too), and you’ll be surprised how quick we come back to you.
