Motorcycle Grasstrack is a form of motorcycle racing which typically, in its current form, takes place on a flat track consisting of two straights and two bends usually constructed in a field. It is one of the oldest types of motorcycle sports in the UK with the first meetings having taken place in the 1920s.

2016 will see Ben compete in his 11th season in the sport continuing in the 250cc class and his enthusiasm is as strong as ever after this year was curtailed by an injury in August. Work behind the scenes continues in preparation for next year having to completely rebuild the bike and replace the kit after the accident.

2015 as a whole was fairly steady for Ben achieving a 9th place finish in the 250cc British championships and regular podium finishes at club events all over the country in what was a hotly contested class.

The whole year is used to prepare for the one day British Championships and the main aim for next year is to climb back up the result ladder and see if he can better his third place finish in the 2013 National titles.

Ben hopes to be back on a bike early February to start getting in some practice laps in preparation for the season start in April to ensure the body and bike are in good form from the off.
